Established by five alumni of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, Windfall* is a newly developed arts publication and collaborative platform, aiming to provide critical and paid exposure for emerging contemporary artists. In producing a high-quality, printed product on a quarterly basis, Windfall* enables an in-depth examination of four new artists per issue; through feature articles, experimental essays, journalistic interviews and online presentation – encouraging a renewed, collectivised strength within the creative industries. Additionally, via regular newsletters and a continually evolving online archive of work, the project hopes to create, develop and maintain a reliable and representational network of artists working in national and international contexts.
